Your own private source of water
Your drinking, cooking and washing water at your home or summer cottage will never be the same again thanks to unique Swedish technology that generates drinking water as pure as nature intended.
Compact, under the sink water purifiers from Bluewater harness intelligent reverse osmosis systems that allow homeowners to create their own oasis’s where the water is purified of all health and taste threatening contaminants, including toxic metals, germs, nitrates and pharmaceuticals. And the top-of-the-range powerful Bluewater Pro removes contaminants to create a whole-home solution proving water for drinking, washing vegetables and even showering, all for under £5000.
Thanks to their second-generation RO technology, Bluewater’s solutions transform simple tap water into great tasting water, with low energy use and by slashing the water wastage associated with older RO systems by over 80 percent. Bluewater systems are good for the environment in other ways too because they cut the need for the plastic water bottles that are polluting the world’s seas.
“In the four years since Bluewater was founded in Stockholm they’ve grown into an international success story with fast growing sales in the USA, China and Europe,” said Love Pure Water sales director Alena Noble. She said that success stemmed from growing consumer concern about the quality and safety of the water coming from kitchen taps.
“Water is life yet it is being polluted from domestic, commercial and industrial sources like never before and new threats emerge all the time. For example, personal care products (PCPs) from shampoos and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) like synthetic hormones and pesticides are reported to be finding their way into the municipal or well water we use for drinking.”
The evidence is of new emerging threats to our raw water supplies is overwhelming.
Last summer the U.S. Federal USGS science agency warned that research is increasingly documenting ‘that many chemicals and microbial constituents that have not historically been considered as contaminants are present in the environment on a global scale’. The UK’s Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has cited surveys that found traces of around 100 therapeutic drug compounds from painkillers to antibiotics and beta-blockers in groundwater, surface waters and ‘more worringly, tap water’. The RSC notes that because pharmaceuticals are water-soluble many of them pass through treatment plants that are designed to get rid of only traditional waterborne pollutants.
“Thanks to the Bluewater technology householders have an easy and fast to install solution. A Bluewater Spirit or Pro water purifier will remove practically all contaminants from tap water and turn it into thirst-quenching, delicious water all the family will love,” Alena said. What’s there not to like about creating your own oasis at home this summer?
